02 / OUR STORY
Kind Monsters’s story began with a documentary made by Mike Lowe and Davidson de Souza.
After Mike died, Davidson and Jennifer Dear began the community initiative you see today. Alongside co-founder Wagner Jose Oliveira, known as Sasquat, they developed Kind Monsters’s work through charitable activities, events and workshops.
That work connects young people through sport, speaking and learning, alongside the coaches and communities who support them.
The documentary remains an important part of our beginnings. Mike’s contribution belongs to that story.
Kind Monsters is applying to become a society. The application is in progress.
